What this tour is
Shaped by the warmth of the sun, the coastal air, and the people who bring these islands to life — Malta and Sicily have a rhythm all their own.
Adventure here isn’t about doing more. It’s about slowing down enough to truly notice.
Walk historic streets in the early morning light. Linger over long lunches. Swim in clear water. Share stories with locals who genuinely welcome you in.
Small groups. Big experiences. Real connections.
It’s what we call the Wild & Free Way — read more about how we travel →

No rush. No ticking boxes.
Just Malta & Sicily, as they really are.
Malta – Living History, Layered and Close

Malta is an island where history and daily life move side by side.
From Valletta’s quiet grandeur to the stillness of Mdina in the early morning, you experience the island at a pace that allows space for curiosity and conversation.
Days are thoughtfully planned but gently paced, exploring in the cooler hours, lingering over lunch, and often pausing for a swim along the way.
It’s a rhythm that allows us to experience each place fully, without ever feeling rushed.
What to expect in Malta:
- Guided walks in Valletta and the historic Three Cities
- A visit to Mdina and Rabat
- Time in Marsaxlokk, Malta’s beautiful fishing village
- And plenty of space simply to rest and connect
- A relaxed day at sea with swimming stops, hidden caves and time to drift and take it all in.
Sicily – Stories, Food, and Fire

Sicily is expressive, generous, and deeply rooted in tradition.
As the journey unfolds, different corners of the island reveal themselves — Ortigia’s sea-wrapped elegance, ancient Greek sites shaped by centuries, vineyards that speak of volcanic soil and family history.
Travel is unhurried, shaped by local knowledge and the rhythm of the group.
What to expect in Sicily:
- Market walks and tastings in Sicily’s historic towns
- Visits to ancient sites in and around Siracusa
- Time on Mount Etna with local guides
- Long lunches at family-run vineyards
- Wandering baroque towns and coastal villages at whatever pace feels good
- A private traditional cooking class
A Gentle Seasonal Rhythm
Late August and early September are made for this kind of travel. Warm days and long evenings, the sea still inviting.
We work with the season, rather than against it:.
- Early starts where they enhance the experience
- Shaded lunches and slower afternoons
- Time for swimming and shared meals outdoors
- Evenings that don’t want to end
You won’t be rushed. But you will experience a great deal.
There is space to settle in, to notice, to truly be there.

Hi , I’m Jo

I’ll be with you throughout your signature tour, acting as your photographer & creating your book post-tour.
No stopping to frame the perfect shot. No half-experiencing things through a screen. Just you, fully there.
After the journey, you’ll receive a beautiful photo book of our time together — every moment you didn’t want to forget, held for you.
Is this for you?
This journey is for you if you’re craving something real, not rushed, not surface-level, but something you can truly feel.
If you’re curious about the world and open to experiencing it differently, through connection, conversation, and moments you couldn’t plan yourself.
If you’re drawn to small groups, shared experiences, and the kind of travel that leaves space to breathe.
You don’t need to be brave. You just need to be curious.

Jo’s support, generosity and sense of adventure shine through every day on tour. I had such an amazing time
